Well after lurking on the Steamworks website and on the forums, I decided to take the plunge. And I'm very glad I did.Â
I won't lie though, I almost turned around and went home after discovering that the parking lot was full. Luckily I found an open parking spot on 117st in front of the apartment buildings around the corner. I think they're public parking?Â

I did sit in my car for a bit, getting over my nervousness, vaping. Then when I decided it was time I made the walk to the entrance. After the walk up the stairwell and paying for the locker, my nerves slowly melted away. (The 2 friendly patrons, and hot tub and dry steam room certainly didn't hurt either.)
I decided against getting a private room, simply because I'm a confident guy and I didn't want to pay for a room I wasn't going to end up using anyways. But like other people have recommended, I would say get a private room if your nerves are getting the best of you. You won't regret going. I promise. The extra cost is worth it imo.
I myself thoroughly enjoyed hanging out naked wherever I decided to go, and the environment is very welcoming. And I loved that there was the option for Netflix in the hot tub area, definitely a pleasant surprise. Not that I watched anything. It's just nice to know there is that option for any nervous couples or individuals who want to break the ice and feel at home.
I didn't end up hooking up with anyone, I really just wanted to feel things out, but I had a few offers come my way. Maybe next time I'll be more comfortable to join in on that threesome or fool around with whoever asks. That's what we're there for anyways, right!
