wow I haven't yet been there, I have gave it a lot of thought though. I think that is my only worry, it sounds like such an amazing place however. I am from out of town and wouldn't find it an issue to drive in just for the experience 

I agree with your comments. Safe sex is a must. Particularly when you are having fun with people you don’t really know. I think this is just another expression of porn translating into real life.

If you have a long or short term partner that you trust and KNOW is safe, well that is a different story.

General rule of thumb if I’m going bare I either know the person or they have a current test done. I get tested regularly because a known a few couples that like their wives cream pied but I also have known them for years 

I agree that safe sex should be practiced. I get tested every 3 months and on Prep and take doxy after to prevent most std's, I also ask to see current test results if they want to cum in my ass or my mouth. Although I enjoy the taste of cum and knowing my ass is filled my health is more important.

I’m happy to hear, however, most of the people who claim that this is just fantasy porn talk etc fail to realize they are talking to first timers who are/is coming, who are trying to live out fantasies. When we first went, we were told for women’s safety and men’s safety -They were stressing  this - told absolutely unconditionally do not do ! Nobody has any sex whatsoever/ or even is to be seen without a condom. ( yes they said even couples!!  that it was massively frowned upon there and that if you did that sort of thing repetitively u could be asked to leave. ) 

After we discovered we were ok ( rules ) if he didn’t cum - my man in me -  if others  with condoms choose to step in.

    I suggest asking for a written copy of recent test results could allow anyone the option of choice...no paperwork/ rubber up! 

@watnor that’s fine privately.. I doubt anyone even so if I don’t know them - I find hard to believe they have been quarantined till results came back lol ..

but with people you know and have some idea they are good to begin with ( hence testing to further proof ) the. Go ahead but not here… especially in groups .. seems unsafe even for staff

I have been to other bathhouses in others provinces that are coed. I have gone on coed night as well as men's night. This is not a scientific survey, but based entirely on observation. Man on Man sex is much more common without a condom. I would say that for man to man sex, Vancouver is higher non condom followed by Toronto, then Edmonton, then Winnipeg. For guys with ladies, condom use is much higher and I find it mostly uncommon for bareback sex between unknown man and woman. There are exceptions. A regular lady at another bathhouse in another province says on that website that condom use is mandatory. However, if she hasn't found someone by 9 pm, then all bets are off. I have seen her take multiple creampies in a row. That is not for me, but I have observed it happen.

@biguy Yes, I would say you are broadly correct. In gay bathhouses - or bi ones - bareback sex is the norm. I typically grab a few condoms to have by my bed, but I’ve been fucked by multiple men and none have even glanced at them. I’d say 80% of the sex I have is bareback. And that’s my choice and I don’t have a problem with it. In my experience men are far more careful around women in places like SW, and from the women I’ve spoken to there’s no penetration without consent and then protection if requested. Barebacking is far more common in the gay community. But that’s just my 10 cents!
