Just saw the poster about crossdressers and how it’s not a “crossdressing club” and that they should minimize their clothing. I think that this rule is very unnecessary when it comes to their clothing. What they wear is sexy and it’s a turn on when it comes to attraction and SEX, they aren’t even full clothed if their ass cheeks are hanging out. For a club that is “welcoming”, it’s targeting things that aren’t even the big issue when there are men chasing women around and waiting outside their door. Let’s be honest, the crossdressers aren’t harming or bothering anyone! Do better management and don’t send this kind of discrimination towards the wrong threat.
Steamworks is a sex club. No one is permitted to walk around fully clothed.
@jimb yes, it’s a sex club but is the poster necessary when your only targeted crossdressers and not everyone? i understand not walking around fully clothed but the crossdressers aren’t fully clothed or in casual wear. i don’t see the problem.
This is literally targeting cross dresser, I mean where not the only one wearing lipstick and make up girls do wear them too, you should post this as a general not just calling out for crossdresser, idk if the owner hates cross dress or just bias but this sucks
There were a couple of times a few years ago where there was a guy in the steam room wearing a female's dress and high heels and carrying a purse. Always thought it would be very painful if he ever stepped on another guy's bare foot.
Also, having a guy fully dressed in female clothing when all the other guys in the steam room were nude or wearing just a towel seemed out of place.
I've seen guys wandering about fully dressed in male clothing. That seems wrong too in a bath house.
Maybe, regardless of gender, being fully dressed in female or male clothing should not be allowed?

Yed it is a sex club and everyone should have fun nor decriminating genders, don't be an ASSHOLE JIM, we are human too and we don't cause no trouble to anyone else, having said that, we just need a fair treatment to everyone, we pay for our entrance and we dont have any issue about it. Your business running because of your patron, and if this big issue to you, well thank you I am not going there in your business and your property will be reported. Steamworks is the only bathhouse in North America that allows cross dressing. Saying I discriminate is way off base. If you’re a cross dresser and don’t walk around fully dressed, then you have nothing to be worried about.
I’ve been a customer for more than a decade and i enjoyed dressing up inside steamworks not only for sex but to meet new friends… We visit your place not only once a week but 2-3 times every week, we even convince most of the guys to go to steamworks just to support your bussiness and your staff knows all of that… steamworks is the only place where gay guys can crossdress who are scared to dress up in public, who are scared of being discriminated outside, the only place that we think we are safe. Don’t call us crossdressers if you want us to walk around naked without make-up or wig or high heels because that’s our way to attract guys who are into crossdressers. But i guess there’s no difference anymore because the place where we called it our second home our safe place to hide our curiousity as a crossdresser is being attacked and blamed to his minor issue. I hope this issue end soon we love steamworks we love your staff we go there not only for sex but to give support to your bussiness…
Further to Jim's post, I just came across the following regarding Steamworks Toronto's policy.
"CD's may dress in a private room and may keep their door open, but cannot roam throughout the club in their CD attire. You cannot roam fully dressed in the club. You must either be wearing a towel, or have your shirt or pants off."

That is steamworks toronto not edmonton… And correction we are wearing lingerie, we are wearing sexy lingerie not fully dressed… if we wear only towel you still consider that as a crossdresser?? And we don’t pay full PRICE just go to there and stay in the room… we are regular customers we spent money 2-3 times per week.. we don’t give any troubles there we even supported steamworks during pandemic just to keep the club open and this is how you treat us?? If you don’t want any crossdressers in steamworks that is fine with us just make it clear so that we don’t need to show up there anymore…
For the record THIS IS NOT A NEW RULE! This will be enforced on all. You are welcome at Steamworks but you must follow the same rules as everyone ,else.
