Apologies for the delay and thank you for your comment. I don't think anyone intends to restrict your thoughts or actions, is it possible that we might take offence at what is proffered innocently? The answer is that being offended is an emotional reaction that belongs solely to the person who feels offended. If we are unwilling to be offensive, we accept self censorship. Nobody is trying to keep you from being yourself and words are not the problem. "Are you a senior cross-dresser?" offers nothing more than a pathway to honest communication between two people. With all due respect, saying "I'm gay" is not an announcement of rigid thinking at all. Consider this, the world is not our biggest impediment to happiness, it is our own limitations. I love the comment below "I'm a woman with a penis" wonderful honesty and self awareness but nobody is restricting that expression... see what i mean?
