I’m not sure when the best time to go is, but I’d try to at least have a friend in the building at first. Are you a very assertive person, and no issues asserting boundaries? A lot of the guys are great, but there are some bad apples and they do tend to act up most when you’re alone. If you’re only starting to go solo, that’s what I’d do.
