I'm wondering if anyone here in the community has experience with Sibari, and fancy rope play.
Where do you find or learn your ties?

I started with cotton rope, but I just ordered 4 lenghts of silk rope.
If you have any pictures of some nice ties you want to share?
My first successful tie (self tied) is a Spiral Futomomo, I found it surprisingly easy.

I tied it again and I was pretty quick at it the second time.
I like the "useful" loop at the bottom.😈

So now I'm getting pretty good at it, I think I have it down pat so I increased the difficulty and used 2 ropes, trying hard to keep the colors in order throughout the tie. I tied it pretty tight this time too.

There are several rope groups in Edmonton. Personally I like Sacred Ties, they do an awesome job of teaching.

I did also find a good app from Shibari Academy. For anyone interested, the of course is paid course content but the Shibari 101 is free.
I dod learn two more ties in theory, I just need my rope bunny to practice on as some cant be self tied. 😁

@raynablue do you know when your victim, er, volunteer is interested in going.
Amazon is actually good for rope. My first 3 ropes were cotton which are ok, but a little stretchy, I liked them because they were soft. I have 4 new ones on the way. I'm trying silk thus time and will try hemp next. 32 feet seems to be th standard length.
I just started with watching YouTube videos, and then the free Shibari Acadamy App for the free 101 course.
