I see lots of questions on here about Saturdays and how busy it might be, when couples are there, are there lots of guys etc. I wanted to contribute back to Steamtalk especially for those on first or second visits. The following are just my observations from attending the last 8 out of 12 Saturdays.
I have been getting there around noon on Saturdays. On one Saturday I did see a couple come in around 1 pm. On another Saturday there was a single lady there around 2 pm. But typically I have not seen ladies or couples show up until beginning around 4 pm. On the other hand there are usually lots of guys there by noon with it getting quieter by around 2 to 2:30 pm. From 2:30 pm until 4 pm or so it is usually on the quieter side. But those that are there seem to be very eager to play.
This past Saturday was no exception to this pattern. There was lots of guy on guy play happening in all the public areas. And hot play at that. I did one cruise through and there were guys playing in both the downstairs rooms near the hot tub, in the sauna, in Fuck Alley, and in the Slurp ramp area. In fact there were more guys playing than were cruising or watching.
If I was to summarize a typical Saturday I would say that it starts out almost exclusively as a typical men's bathhouse at opening and then gradually transitions to a coed play place in the later afternoon.
