I've never actually been to SW before and to be honest I'm pretty much still a virgin. I'm trying to break out of my comfort zone a bit since I (19f) haven't really done much before. But I'm pretty sure I'm a sub. I'm also a very anxious person so even typing up this post is a bit scary for me so talking with someone beforehand would very much be preferred. As someone who also hasn't been able to go to SW yet i get the anxiety of going there. iv drove past a couple times but haven't stopped in yet but from my experience to talking to people on the forums almost everyone there is super nice and respectful, personally im waiting for a slower day to try to stop by so i can just walk around for a bit with someone and kinda see what its like in there for atmosphere. but talking to someone of the forums has deff increased my interest and got rid of some of my anxiety of going there

I am an older person and I have been around to all of the clubs and sex shops in the city for many years, and I will tell you that the folks at steam-works are the nicest folks you will ever meet. I can tell you that everyone here is wanting to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable event, they even has staff walking around to ensure that there are no bad actors. for the most part everyone looks out for everyone else, this place is a lot safer than most bars you will ever goto, sure that in a few days some of the ladies in this place will jump at the opportunity to invite you, take it from an old guy that knows people, these folks are the nicest folks you will meet in the city, all the best in your adventure

@slmguy I would certainly recommend you get a room your first visit so you have a comfortable place to ‘retreat’ to if you get nervous. You will enjoy exploring, and knowing you can have as much or little exposure as you wish.
