Okay after a wonderful successful first visit, I have a report back in case anyone else reads this with the same question!
Tl;dr Yes you can go as a solo woman. It was great.
1. Go early to get a room and figure out the layout before it gets super busy. When guys are following you around it's uh...helpful to know where you're going and not accidentally lead them into a sex corner.
2. Highly recommend chatting with the staff and regulars, their presence discouraged the more lurky types and gave me advice when I had situations I wasn't sure how to handle (like people knocking on my closed door)
3. If you make a friend, ask their room number so you can find them again (if the door is open or you have permission to knock)!
4. The staff can give you a room out of the way instead of in the thick of things, I liked that. I think next time I'll ask for a room closer to the staff though.
Things not related to being solo that I wish I'd known:
- I'm going to bring a blanket for my room next time!
- more snacks for a long visit, and cash + coins for the vending machine/commissary thing
- change of clothes if not planning to be nude, I was cold in my wet bra + panties after hot tubbing
I was really happy with how welcoming and respectful people were. It is important to be able to tell people you're not interested, I had a few stubborn people who'd keep following me or asking to be company/spank me/come into my room/etc even after several no's, and people who are easily pressured may not feel great about that without a companion to help. I do wish that hadn't happened, and I particularly didn't like it when people tried to follow me into my room when I was entering it. But yet another "no thank you" always solved it, so. That's good! And no nonconsensual touching, but a bit of whining - "please" and "are you sure" and "just a little bit" and "awww 🙁 " etc.
I had a more social time than I expected and absolutely loved it. Thanks everyone 🙂
