Hi!

I was there last night alone for the first time and here were my thoughts as a single female.

It can be nerve wracking but staff and others were very nice and did try to make me comfortable so it terms of behaviors it was very respectful. I read the rules online prior to coming. They weren't explained to me by staff but rather by other members present. 

Having a room to yourself as a single female is definitely a must to come back to a something that feels like a safe space. 

The dry sauna was clean and nice. The wet steam alley has an interesting layout but the darkness of it all makes it feel grimy. The hot tub was fairly small and smelt too much like chlorine, over powering the whole area. The surroundings didn't look that clean. I avoided the bathroom and showers as the hot tub had already put me off. 

I immediately upon entering caught the eye of a few men as that was the majority of the demographic. I had a single file following me. I saw two lovely couples, I wished I had time to interact with them more had I not had so many men following me. I didn't see any other single females there and that was discouraging. I left after getting a feel for the place, but not finding anyone i would be interested in. I'm glad I got over my nerves and finally visited. 

Excited for the renos though. I would suggest the steam room be lightly lit with tiles dark blue and green so you still get the dark effect without being too dim in there, dont go with white, it'll be too hospital/sterile like. 

I agree with the comment above, if you raise the price you will attract a different crowd. You get what you pay for. And if the price went up to 60 to 100$ I would still go if it meant amenities were fairly clean, area was still safe and a more varied demographics came. You should update your sex store, some of the toys there looked way too cheap. If I'm going to play I definitely would buy some good grade silicone. 

On a positive note, I really enjoyed it being maze like and getting lost going down the halls and finding things like swings and glory holes. Might have to plan ahead and come back with a couple or a partner rather than finding a partner there. 

@bolobao don't get me wrong, I understand that there's a discrepancy beteeen how we expect people to watch and how they end up watching. I went there with my dom recently and they wanted me to top them in the swing in Fuck Alley. When I got them into the swing, we were IMMEDIATELY flanked by dudes strokkng their dicks on either side of the swing, like inches away. Did it feel a little presumptuous on their part? Hell yeah it did. Like.... Holy fuck, guys. What barn were you raised in to feel it's ok to get THIS close? Bonus was one dude smelled like a distillery. But it comes down to rules versus etiquette. Rules are concrete, etiquette is a little more abstract. You get it or you don't. In the end, as much as it felt a little invasive, the fact is we could have stayed in our room. Opting for a public area means opting for everything that comes with it, unfortunately.

@luvtopeg87 It can be frustrating for guys to be packed in that close. Was in a different city a couple of weeks ago and went to the bathhouse for their coed night. It was very similar there. Action taking place in one of the public areas and very quickly there are a crowd of guys pushing and shoving to get a front row view. This happened with MF and MM action. The difference that I noticed with MM action was that the guys watching and crowding around would begin to play with each other, where that did not happen with the crowd watching the MF action. I have also seen that elsewhere.

Two different couples that were playing had to keep telling the guys to back off. It would work for a couple of minutes and then other guys would show up and push their way up close. Not enjoyable for anyone.
